Broken Arrow has you diving back into the Open Road series filled with suspense, drama and a little chaos. Arrow and Annie will steal your hearts with such ease you won't even realize it until the very end. Their storyline is captivating and draws you in with such an ease as old favourites like Tiny and Morris drop in to say hello. The chemistry between these two is electric right from the start and as a business relationship starts to have the lines blurred as a fake relationship is established the heat certainly gets turned up a few extra notches. The story will have you on the edge of your seat as you try to discover who is putting Annie's life in danger. Arrow and Annie will have you holding on for some twists and turns as they find their happy places with each other.
This book was definitely leaning more to the insta-love trope, which I'm not the biggest fan of. I will say they didn't just fall into bed together right away which was nice, it still was rather quick though. I felt like Annie skipped so many steps in getting help. Like she told no one about the notes and just went right to hiring a PI. And she was a college student with not that much money. I also felt that our MMC, Arrow, just didn't really have that much going for him. He also just didn't give off super tough vibes that you would expect him to.
I felt like the plot was interesting, but there were some times where it just didn't make sense for the MCs to do what they did. I loved how protective Arrow was to Annie and how he wanted to protect her. Overall I feel like it could have been better, but it wasn't bad.
The Open Road series by Chelle Bliss has been one of my all-time favorite series by this author because not only has every single book been a 5-star read for me, but they continue to top each other as well! Just when I think I’ve read the best of the best (because they’re all best), BAM, she writes an even more powerful one!
Josh, aka Arrow, stole the show for me. His development as an individual and as a hero really had me hooked to this story. How the MC came together for support of both Arrow & Annie was a huge plus for me. The way that Chelle wrote their business-relationship flowing seamlessly into a fake-relationship which developed into so much more was a thing of beauty. The chemistry and spark not just between Annie & Arrow but of the storyline itself kept me hooked and reading till my eyes hurt!
If you enjoy fast-paced, suspenseful, action-packed storylines with characters that spark from beginning to end, this is a story for you! GO DO THE THING!
Thank you so much for the ARC of Broken Arrow, Chelle. I absolutely loved reading this book.
Broken Arrow is a dual pov novel that follows Annie, who had been receiving some quite threatening notes and has no clue why she is receiving them, so we decided to get help from a private investigator. After finding no help from the other PI's in town, she finally finds help from Arrow's PI. Arrow decides to take this job up even though he would not be paid as much as he would like.
Arrow, also known as Josh, gets set to work trying to figure out who is treating Annie and how he can keep her safe from harm. Unfortunately, things escalated, and the threats come more read, and Josh gets thrown into Annie's drama and to keep people from suspecting anything they enter into a fake relationship to throw potential suspects off track
Through the time they spend together, they quickly develop feelings for each other and eventually act on their impulses, sending them more down the road of unprofessionalism than they ever should have been. This is actually one of my favourite tropes, so I loved reading it and seeing the tension flow between them.
This book was fast-paced and really engaging. It was written so well, and the only thing I wanted was more of them. It was quite spicy yet also full of tension with not knowing who had been threatening Annie and the whole scene when they lay down a trap for the person who was.
Overall, I loved Broken Arrow and the characters in it, it was so funny and loveable and just amazing in short and if you love the tropes of Bodyguard, Romantic suspense and forced proximity you will love this book as well.
Chelle Bliss returns readers to the Open Road Series. With another gripping story. That sees PI Arrow who rents a space at the strip mall owned by the MC come to the aid of graduate art student Annie. When she arrives at his office looking for help after receiving a number of weird letters.
And Arrow is keen to help. As not only is he in need of the work. But Annie is gorgeous and there is just something about her that draws him in. Plus, the letters worry him, and he genuinely feels for her safety.
So he decides to take action. But things soon escalate and Annie and Arrow quickly find themselves needing the MC's help and having to hide out until the situation can be resolved.
And with such a fast-paced, suspenseful and spicy storyline. Not to mention a great group of characters including some old favourites of mine Morris, Alice, Lia, Leo, Crow and Tiny. This was a fabulous read. That also perfectly demonstrates just how beautiful found family can be.
My thanks to Chelle Bliss and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read an early copy of Broken Arrow. 😊
Annie Hancock is finally following her dreams, studying for her graduate degree to become a professional artist. She has been working in her father's office as a secretary and finds the will to go onto work on her master's degree in ART, something for herself.
"Josh" Arrow has been working for years as a bounty hunter and private investigator. Annie comes into his office one day, very timid and scared. He finally is able to ease her into a conversation about what is going on. Arrow works out a plan for Annie to help her with her situation.
Arrow and Annie have known each other for such a very short time. However, spending time together and talking about everything under the sun helps them build a relationship together. Even though Arrow is working for / with Annie, he has some very strong feelings for her, and she for him.
I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
Broken Arrow by Chelle Bliss is book 4 in the Open Road Series. This is the story of Arrow aka Josh and Annie. Arrow is a PI who is drawn to Annie when she comes into his office asking for help. Annie is receiving alarming letters from someone. The sparks fly between the two. Really enjoyed this book and love this author's writing.
Broken Arrow is the next story in the Open Road series and features Arrow aka Josh and Annie, an art student. Annie approaches Josh to hire him for PI services after she receives a number of letters from an unknown person, which appear to be escalating😳
A great story with cameos from most of our beloved bikers and their old ladies❣️ So great to be in this world again…and hopefully more to come😍
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
Annie Hancock has finally started to live her dream and is at college studying textile art. When she starts to get threatening letters she seeks out help in the form of a private investigator. It's not until she sits in Josh Aronowicz office that she finds someone to help her. Josh, Arrow to his friends, feels a connection with Annie and as they work together to find her stalker, the attraction between them grows. Can they find out who is causing all the problems for Annie? Is the close proximity they're in making them feel attracted to each other? I loved this book and the way Chelle creates characters that might not be perfect but are perfect for each other. The chemistry is hot and the banter flows. Having characters from other books pop up feels like you're in the middle of a world you could inhabit. Can't wait for Chelle's next book!
This story is an adventure! Twists & turns, mystery, and great storyline throughout!
I didn't really feel like I got to know Arrow in earlier stories, but I was definitely intrigued by him. He didn't really fit the vibe of a PI - but I liked him.
In this story, I am happy to report I liked him even more, and feel like I got to know the real Josh. His protective feelings & actions toward Annie were fun to read, & I ADORE Annie! Her joy for life shines through even when she's scared about what's going on. These two also bring the 🔥🔥.
I love the suspense elements here, the fun banter, and the HEA! The way these two find themselves as they fall in love made me happy. Also loved the role the club plays in protecting these two.
I loved this bodyguard, forced-proximity romance! Arrow and Annie fall hard for one another while trying to figure out who's threatening them.
Arrow has never really had a family and watching how his friends in the MC become his family, was everything. When he meets Annie he feels an instant connection to her. He's protective, smart, and sexy. I love how he takes charge and makes Annie feel safe and beautiful. Annie is just trying to find herself as an artist when she starts receiving threatening letters. I love how strong and sweet she is. These two fall in love in the midst of danger. The sweetness of them getting to know each other, the steamy scenes, and found family make this the perfect romance!
5 star Review Broken Arrow (Open Road #4) by Chelle Bliss
Audio/eBook:
I love this series; every book gets better and better. Although you can read as a stand alone I recommend you also read the other books in the series. This is Annie and Josh aka Arrow’s story and what a great addition to the series.
Annie is being threatened so she hires Arrow to investigate which starts a chain of events neither expected.
I fell hard for Arrow, he ticked all my boxes; I loved the development of his relationship with Annie. He was there for her when she needed him the most.
This was a roller coaster of a read with characters that will draw you in and whose story you will quickly become invested in.
The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat whilst reading. lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh brought all the passion, drama and romance to life with their performances.
Arrow and Annie are a fantastic addition to the Open Road crew! I didn't want to put their story down for a second with all the mystery and the twists and turns. I adore their fast-paced love story. Plus, Broken Arrow has one of my favorite things...found family! Morris, Alice, Tiny, Leo, and Lia are the best crew a framily could ask for.
"...for the first time in forever, I feel like I've come home."
Thank you to Chelle Bliss and ValentinePR for sending me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wowowowo! I read this in one day and almost one sitting. It was SO good. I love a fast paced romance book and this was it. I haven’t read the other books in the series, but now I most definitely will! This was fun, spicy, and intriguing! The mystery within the book was really great. It kept me on my toes!
I thought the main characters were likable, though they fell for one another quickly. I enjoyed it thoroughly! Love love love!
Fabulous book & couple!! Loved Arrow & Annie!! Chelle Bliss has written another swoon worthy male character with Arrow & another smart, independent female character with Annie. It was also wonderful reuniting with past characters that we know & love (Tiny, Morris, Alice, Crow, Leo, Lia) while introducing a couple of new characters. Annie comes to Arrow when she’s in danger & hires him as a PI. Sparks fly between them & soon they are both in danger. Tiny, Morris & friends come to their aid showing what friendship & loyalty are all about. I can never say enough about this author’s books & this book is yet another example as to why she remains as one of my all time favorite authors. I was sad when the book came to an end & as usual am looking forward to the next one!! I voluntarily read for an honest review.
Each of these 4 books is quite different. This story of Annie and Arrow (Josh) has to do with scary notes and threats, and a pretty girl who hires a handsome PI.
Excellent Story, Characters & Narration🎧 This Series is Amazing!
Broken Arrow Open Road Series, Book 4 By: Chelle Bliss Narrated by: Lance Greenfield, Kirsten Leigh
Chelle Bliss does it again and pens another winning novel set in her “Open Road” series, a romantic suspense that grabs your attention right from the start and holds it hostage for the entire book. I am a huge fan of Chelle Bliss’ writing, her stories and most of all the stars of those stories, her characters, each one just as amazing as the other, in their own way. The world building is fantastic too. This fourth book is Arrow’s and Annie’s story. Arrow, aka Josh, a former bounty hunter, opened his own Investigation and Security business, which is not doing that well. He rents space in a strip mall owned by the Disciples MC, who has legalized most of their businesses. Annie Hancock is following her dreams of becoming an artist and entered a graduate program at the university. Someone was leaving strange notes left for her at her dorm and when the messages get more alarming, she was frightened enough to search for a private investigator who could provide security. After visiting several P.I. she found one who sounded like he cared and knew what he was doing, one she could trust, Josh. Josh takes on her case, looking at every angle to find out who is behind the notes and why. There was an instant connection between Josh and Annie, and what starts off as a fake relationship turns into something so much more than real. I loved how everything played out in this book, also loved how the Disciples step up to help one of their own, despite Arrow not being a sworn in member. This wonderfully plotted story has it all, drama, a touch of angst, some mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Chelle Bliss, thank you for entertaining me with another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Chelle Bliss chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and stay to life. Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh did an amazing job portraying these characters, giving each a voice that was fitting, sounding believable and just as I pictured them to sound. Greenfield’s Arrow was spot on, grasping every aspect of his personality, and Leigh did the same for Annie. Both were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They sent the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
Open Road has been a MUST READ Chelle Bliss series since I opened the pages of Broken Sparrow. BROKEN ARROW is book #4 and is an emotional, suspenseful romance involving a student, a bodyguard (PI), and some forced proximity. This story was just too good to put down.
Annie Hancock is a graduate Arts student who has been receiving notes from a mysterious person, she's ignored them so far, until the last one which was more threatening. She decides to seek out a P.I. to help her and finds herself standing in front of Josh 'Arrow' Aronowicz, the hottest, sexiest man she has ever seen. After hearing Annie's story Arrow agrees to help her, for three reasons: 1) his work has been a bit slow lately, 2) he's genuinely concerned about the notes and her safety, and 3) Annie is absolutely gorgeous.
As Arrow begins his investigation the situation Annie is involved in begins to escalate, causing Arrow to believe that Annie is being stalked and that her life could be in danger. He takes her under his wing and vows to protect her, no matter what. As the situation worsens Arrow calls on the help of his MC friends, he needs a place for them both to stay, one which will ensure Annie's safety.
Forced proximity ensures that the simmering sparks between Annie and Arrow begin to ignite and spark. The chemistry they share is undeniable and giving in to it was going to be inevitable. Annie was just so sweet, someone who experienced tragedy at a young age, she was extremely independent, and just wanted to finish her Art degree. Arrow was delicious, he may have been rough around the edges, but he had a massive heart of gold. I loved how he was with Annie, warm, tender, and extremely caring. When Annie and Arrow finally get together ... they were HOT!!!!
Once again Chelle Bliss brings in characters from the previous books in the series, Tiny, Morris, Alice, Leo, and Lia. Tiny still manages to make me laugh with his antics. BROKEN ARROW was such a fantastic read and Annie and Arrow were a wonderful couple. Their story was one I found hard to put down. Can't wait for more of this series.
Broken Arrow Open Road Series, Book 4 By: Chelle Bliss Narrated by: Lance Greenfield, Kirsten Leigh
I don't know how she does it, but Chelle Bliss had me fall once again for an amazing man! This book is fantastic, and if you want to enjoy it at it's best, I recommend grabbing the first books in this series. This does stand alone, but they are all so good, and characters do overlap. Now, Annie is in college, struggling to figure out where she fits in her major and now she is getting threatening notes. Not knowing what to do next, she seeks out the help of Josh/Arrow. Private investigator that he is, he is immediately drawn to the case. But what she wants is a bodyguard. Security it is plus he will work on the case since he is between jobs. Feeling a little safer, the two make up their cover story and the investigation begins. And the notes keep coming and getting more dangerous. Now involving Josh, he is taken in by Disciples who rent his office space to him but will that put them at risk too? Talk about exciting! Bliss keeps the suspense building and the suspects are completely unexpected! I love the connection between Annie and Arrow, visiting with Tiny who just makes me laugh and the family that the Disciples brings. They warm my heart every time!
Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh are voices I love to hear. These two work so well together, and each time is as good as the first. Greenfield is the over protective PI that gives all the feels. His ability to be the tough guy and then turn to mush has me every time. Leigh is Annie, strong, scared, brave, confused, passionate, you name it, she comes through with all the emotions Annie has and it's amazing. Love these two and always look forward to their narrations.
Broken Arrow is yet another winner in this Open Road series by Chelle Bliss. This time around we get Arrow's unexpected romance in the form of one Annie Hancock. She's an art student who has been getting threatening notes under her dorm door and needs a private investigator stat. Luckily for Annie and Josh (Arrow), she finds in him not only the right man for the job but the right one for her.
The book goes along at a good pace as Josh and Annie find themselves having to spend most of their time together as her dorm room is no longer safe, she doesn't want to get her father involved and even Josh's business could very well be a target. But what is so sweet is that they truly get to know one another whether it's eating crazy-good pancakes together or sharing hopes and dreams late at night. Josh and Annie have a true connection so that when they have to continue the ruse of being a couple, not only does everyone buy it but they begin to see a potential future together that a mere week ago, never even seemed possible.
The danger that plagues Annie is contained in a true Disciples way and there is no question Tiny, in particular, loved getting back to some of the club's ways. He's always so ornery but is lovable just the same and getting to see him and many of the other members is always a highlight as this series continues.
I look forward to more of the Open Road and will be there for whoever might get the Chelle Bliss treatment next. When looking for a book with a great combo of heat, mystery and an unexpected kind of love, look no further than Broken Arrow. It's full of the kind of real feels I adore and I happily give it a big 4 stars!
It’s time to go back to the open road. “Broken Arrow” is a heartfelt, action packed and romantic insta(ish)-love stalker romance that was a great addition to the series.
Annie is in art school in Florida and has been getting some disturbing notes left on her car and wherever she frequents. At first she thought it was a harmless prank but the notes started getting more intense. Without many options, she turns to a private investigator to help her out. Josh, AKA, Arrow was a bounty hunter turned PI. And when Annie comes into his office, he’s instantly drawn to her and takes her case. But as he starts to get involved, it’s clear that Annie is in danger and he becomes protective of her. As the two spend time together, a clear chemistry between them starts to surface.
I have loved this series and I was excited to read the next book in the series. Annie is caring, sweet and has a good head on her shoulders. She’s someone anyone could be friends with in real life and I loved that about her. I felt for as she was getting the notes and how much it was affecting her. Arrow is a great guy and I loved how protective he got with Annie right away. His moral compass points in the right direction. Arrow is smart, caring and he has a great job. He was incredibly sweet with Annie and made sure that she was safe and comfortable at all times. They had an amazing connection and grew stronger as the story went on. I loved the plot twist of friends and the person that was coming after her. And having the past characters a part of the story was so great. The ending was sweet and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
Broken Arrow is the 4th book of the Open Road Series by the brilliantly talented Chelle Bliss and it slingshots into the #2 favorite spot for this series!
We're following the story of Josh aka Arrow and Annie. Their relationship starts out innocent and professional. When Annie comes to Arrow in need of a PI because of mysterious notes and threats she's been receiving.
Arrow is looking for clients and is hitting a brick wall for work. So when the gorgeous Annie comes to him for help he's not only mesmerized by her beauty he's generally concerned for her safety once he sees the notes left and after seeing the lack of security on her campus he's even more concerned.
As the threat keeps coming and getting more dangerous the sexual tension keeps building between them. When they have to hid out to keep Annie safe is when the last threads break and the spark between them builds into a raging inferno.
Arrow will do anything to keep her safe and Annie will do anything to keep him and his intense, intimidating but kind biker friends safe from the dangers that's after her. What she begins to realize after their reassurance is if one of theirs is in trouble than all of them will help.
Broken Arrow is a soul lifting spicy romance with tropes we all love... Found Family, Forced Proximity, Bodyguard Romance, one Bed, opposites attract and instalove.
Chelle Bliss gives us a great addition to the series and another 5 Star Romance to rave about!
Broken Arrow by Chelle Bliss was such a quick listen. Seriously, I flew threw this story and didn't even realize it was over, until it was over. Annie is the main character. She starts off and you might see that she's a bit timid. She's very scared and nervous. I get it, she's receiving these vague, scary notes. She doesn't know where they're coming from. She just knows that someone is coming into her private area. They are violating her home, albeit a temporary home, while she's in college. She seeks out a private investigator... in walks Arrow. Arrow has an office in that same complex where the biker gang have a garage and there's a dog babysitting as well. Annie immediately feels at ease and safe with Arrow. He immediately fights an attraction with him. He also feels very protective of her.
It's weird, I didn't feel like Arrow was as alpha-maleish as I'm used to with Chelle Bliss's books. I liked him, I liked Annie. I wanted more... UMPH from him. I really loved Annie though. She is a strong female lead and really show it after the opening scenes. The narrators, Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh did a great job bringing the characters to life. Greenfield was great at bringing Arrow to life and really developing his personality. Leigh was awesome! I felt like her voice really brought a bit more to Annie's character. I saw her as more than a timid college student struggling to make it on her own. Leigh seriously made this character brilliant!
Broken Arrow is Book 4 in the Open Road series by Chelle Bliss, featuring a riveting romantic suspense story for Arrow and Annie. Annie’s just trying to follow her art school dreams, but when threatening notes start popping up everywhere, she begins to fear for her safety. While searching for the right PI, she finds Josh aka Arrow and feels an immediate connection. The threats escalate, so Arrow and Annie are forced into hiding as they make plans to solve her problem, as well as decide what to do with the obvious sparks between them. Is their connection real, or just a bi-product of danger-driven adrenaline?
What a fun addition to the series!! I was glued to the pages from beginning to end! Arrow and Annie were perfect together, with the right blend of connection, understanding, romance, and sizzling chemistry!! The suspense plot was top notch, and the twists and turns will definitely keep you guessing!! I love the MC family in this series so much, and the way they step up for Arrow and Annie was *chef’s kiss*🤌🏻! The epilogue was amazing, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for more from this awesome crew!! Don’t miss this must read!!
I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
This is book 4 in the Open Road series and it can absolutely be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books just because the characters are introduced in previous books. Annie Hancock is finally following her dreams, studying for her graduate degree to become a professional artist. But when someone starts to leave threatening notes around her studio and dorm, Annie can’t help but wonder…who’s after her and why? She doesn’t know who to trust or keep herself safe. Arrow (Josh) has been grinding for years as a bounty hunter and private investigator. After setting down roots and opening his own office, his business doesn’t take off the way he’d hoped. Just when he’s about to change course, a beautiful woman is in desperate need of his services. But what starts out as a simple assignment becomes more complicated when they’re forced into hiding. And as the threat gets closer, and the attraction becomes hotter, they’ll need to decide if what they have is real or driven by danger.
I really enjoyed this one! Josh and Annie have a definite chemistry and it only gets stronger the longer they spend together. The suspense kept me guessing and reading because I absolutely needed to know more. I love being able to see characters from previous books, but I also loved that they show him what true family is when he needs them. This book was definitely well worth the read and I can't wait to see where the next book takes us!!
A great romantic suspense story from Chelle Bliss as college student Annie goes to private investigator Josh when she starts receiving anonymous notes that gradually get more menacing. He wasn’t the first P.I. She’d approached or even the second, but he was the only one that actually listened to her fears. Josh’s business was failing, and he was considering his options when Annie walked into his office. He knew at first glance her fear was genuine and something about the letters struck a nerve, so he instantly took on her case.
Broken Arrow came with a fast-paced and gripping storyline involving an escalating stalker, ramping up the suspense and tension before reaching a dramatic conclusion and one I didn’t see coming. I loved the golden oldie vibes I got from Josh of a down on his luck gumshoe who agrees to help the damsel in distress that made me think he was like a modern-day Sam Spade. With a fantastic hero and heroine in Josh and Annie with just the right amount of spice and a fantastic cast of secondary characters who will be familiar to regular readers of this author. Saying that, this was my first read from Chelle Bliss and the fourth book in her Open Road series, but I don’t feel this impacted on my enjoyment of Broken Arrow or gave away any spoilers if I was to go and now read any of the previous books.
BROKEN ARROW (Open Road Series) Book 4 is the last in the series, but all can be read as standalone books. But I've read them all in the series, just not in order. I liked each and every one of them, and the characters were all very likable too.
Arrow had opened a new business in a rented office space with a new sign on the storefront that says: Arrow Investigations and Security. He's been in this business for one year. Before becoming a private investigator and security guard, he was a bounty hunter. His real name is Josh Aronowicz but friends call him Arrow. A legit MC owns the strip-mall where his office is located. He is not a member as such, buts considered as one of their own. His business hadn't flourished like he'd hoped. When he had left his office open for a short period of time, he returned to find a very attractive young woman had entered. She was very distressed and scared and he had needed to calm her down, so he could find out what is her troubled problem and if he could help. Her name is Anne Hancock, but people call her Annie. She's in more dangerous trouble than Arrow had suspected. Arrow & Annie fast turn into quite a team. His protective instincts go into overdrive, and he is the only one she feels she can trust. For her safety they pretend to be together, but they are so good at it they soon forget to pretend!
I love this author and have enjoyed this series. I loved seeing all the people from the other books- it’s always a treat to get to see them again.
This was an enjoyable read all around. But what stuck out to me the most was that I lived that they were normal people. They weren’t billionaires at 20 years old, or super hero level genius super spies or anything. He was a PI that was struggling to keep his business running, trying to find a single client that would cover the electric bill. He talked about his past and how his career wasn’t his passion, but the idea of having a wife and family to come home to someday was. She was the daughter of a real estate attorney, struggling to find her passion. She was pushed suddenly into graduate art school by her father (pivotal part of the plot), but isn’t quite sure that it’s the right choice for her or where it might lead as far as a career. Her father isn’t rich, she is constantly thinking about the cost of things.
Even in the final chapters and epilogue, they don’t have some fairy tale “everything magically worked out”. Yes they get their HEA, of course. But they both *worked* for it and made career choices like normal adults who struggle to find their paths. Maybe it’s silly, but I loved that the author chose to write them so relatable and real. ❤️❤️
Chelle Bliss delivers another great story with Broken Arrow, Open Road book 4. As soon as Annie thinks she's on her way to finding her purpose with her art, having gotten into grad school, mysterious letters start to show up leaving her unnerved. The letters become increasingly alarming and scary so Annie seeks out the help of a PI, Arrow (Josh). Neither of them were expecting the instant attraction but know they must remain professional to keep Annie safe and get to the bottom of who's behind the letters and why. They're taken in by the MC to keep them both safe but trouble starts knocking on everyone's doors and it's clear no one is safe. As the mystery behind the letters starts to heat up and unfold, the sparks between Annie and Arrow sizzle to an inferno and they give into the passion. Arrow is determined to keep Annie safe and keep her in his life long after the mystery is solved and the person responsible is brought to justice. The person they both begin to think may be involved ends up being the one to save the day. Settling into their new normal comes naturally for Annie and Arrow as they navigate what their future holds. In the words of Arrow "They all ended up where they were meant to be."
