I think for the first time ever I actually enjoyed the first book a little more than this one. That not to say that I think this one isn't as good I just wasn't feeling it as much as the first. I think I expected abit more action throughout. There's lots going on but it didn't have that can't put it down feel for me. I loved all the interaction with City, he's such a fun character to watch lose his mind and Gigi just wasn't letting up on him. Pike and Gigi are such a perfect match and their relationship is going from strength to strength. There's a lot of passion there and can't see it ever waning. I loved the set up for the next book in this series and I've got a feeling I'm going to absolutely love Crow.

4 Stars Review by Leah Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog Burn is the continuation of Flame which I LOVED. I just did not get the same feeling in this one as I did with Flame. The banter is still here and the strong characters but there something was missing and I cannot put my finger on it. In Burn we do get to dive into the back story of Pike. And now Chelle Bliss has me wondering who the heck Colton Moore is. So many scenarios going through my head. She just has a way of hooking me in every time. The Gallos are amazing, please don’t get me wrong and think something happened to this series. They are my absolute favorite family. I will always relate the name Gallo to the Men of Inked series. I giggle every time I watch Chicago Fire now that they have a “Gallo” firefighter. Heck, if I had another kid it would more than likely be named after one of them, LOL! This one just felt more relaxed, laid back and more lifelike. Not saying that is a bad thing I just expected a little more excitement after the last book. If you have never heard of the Gallos pick up book one and dive right in. You will not be disappointed.

This volume was action-packed and filled to the brim with smirk-worthy sizzle and sass, licentious humor, volatile family issues, life-threatening peril, bad-boy biker attraction, brassy levity, and only a small bit of slightly over the top melodrama. Sigh, I loves me some Chelle Bliss.
